Desert Fox Flyers

The Desert Fox Flyers R.C club was incorporated in January 2000. The club was organized by Richard Johnson and Dr. Richard Granberg and began with a handful of members flying radio-controlled airplanes. Our first model rc flying field was a gravel pit near the Bunkerville turnoff at Riverside Road. We quickly moved after finding our model airplane set up tables destroyed by vandals. The next flying site was the Mesquite raceway. A year later the land was sold and we had to move. We eventually made a deal with Mr. and Mrs. Biasi to establish a runway and club house on their ranch in Beaver Dam, Arizona. We flew there for 2 ½ years until land development forced us to relocate. We found our next flying site 7 miles west of Mesquite in a gravel pit next to the I-15 freeway. Today you can find us, back in Arizona, Hwy 91, ½ mile South on Scenic Blvd. just to the West of Scenic Blvd.
